Tiny Circus may be one of the most original and coolest things I've ever seen. I first met Carlos through Jason Reitz while having Mexican Martinis at Julios in Austin, Texas. As soon as I found out what he did, I begged him to be a part of it, and have since had the opportunity to do music for several of their videos (including the history of rain, which uses music from my string quartet. Click on the Look section next to the quartet to watch).

The circus travels the country in tiny revamped air-stream trailors. They go to small rural towns in the mid-west and collaborate with residents to make fun stop-motion art-videos about mythical histories of the world. In the evening, they project the videos from the back of their trailors for the community. Not only do they bring art to people who would otherwise not have access to it, they ask the people to create their own art as well. Beautiful!
